Garlic and Olive oil – Amazing and Powerful overnight remedy for Sore Throat

In need of immediate relief from a sore throat? Then use garlic and olive oil. That’s right, garlic and olive oil. Garlic as an antiviral and antibacterial agent is unsurpassed. It has been used for thousands of years by natural healers to heal and purify the entire body. Before you decide to go to the doctor and take antibiotics, consider what one leading authority in natural medicine has to say about garlic.

According to Dr. John Heinerman, author of more than 30 books on herbs and natural cures, ” there are no…repeat…, NO modern antibiotic drugs in the entire arsenal of medical science which can even come close to doing what garlic can do, better, cheaper and safer. Garlic may not always work as fast as some of these misnamed “wonder drugs” but it holds a definite edge over all of them in one particular respect: bacterias are unable to adapt themselves to this potent spice as they have been proven to do so readily with all other antibiotic drugs.”

In this post I will give you an amazingly powerful, effective and simple remedy for a sore throat that is either coming on or already in progress. You may do this at anytime of the day, however, for the ultimate healing, do it right before you go to sleep. You will also not have to worry about having garlic breath all day!

Take two or three good sized cloves of garlic and cut them into small pieces. Put the cut pieces into a small bowl and add a 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix the garlic and oil together. Next, put a couple of spoonfuls of the mixture in your mouth. Begin chewing and continue to chew without swallowing for at least 5 minutes. Garlic needs to be crushed for the anti bacterial qualities to work properly so make sure you chew as much of it as you can.

The olive oil is also an excellent remedy for a sore throat. It will soothe and ease the pain of the irritation. If you can “stomach” it, after 5 or more minutes ( I sometimes chew for up to 15 minutes just to really make sure my throat gets coated) swallow what has by now, become liquid. If you think you may not be able to handle the mixture, then simply spit it out. Do this three times before you go to sleep.

There is one last step if you really want to knock out whatever is going on in your throat. Crush the remaining mixture into a fine paste then just before you go to bed, rub it on your feet. Put some socks on so you don’t get it all over your sheets. In the morning you will be amazed at the healing that has taken place. Not only in your throat but in your entire body. If your breath is “overly garlic” in the morning there is a very good remedy for that as well. After you eat and brush your teeth, take a small amount of parsley and chew it well, then swallow it. Take the parsley with you in your bag so you can chew it throughout the day. It will neutralize the smell of the garlic and also add to the healing of your throat.

As always, I wish you the best on your journey to Superior Vocal Health.
